Since 1978 the Birmingham Boys Choir has been trained by its choirmaster, Mr. Ken Berg, and his staff.  He continues to raise the level of excellence which the choir enjoys, and it flourishes under his leadership.  Ken Berg is a graduate of Samford University where he received both his Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees.

Ken is a published composer with several different publishing companies as well as Bella Voce Press, (www.bellavocepress.com). He has served as State President, High School R&S Chair and Southern Division High School R&S Chair for the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA)

Susan Berg is Pianist, Executive Secretary and director of the Junior Choristers.  Susan has a private piano studio and has served in various offices of local music teacher’s organizations. Susan has served as church pianist and Children's Choir Coordinator for several area churches. She is a frequent clinician for younger children's choirs.  She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Samford University.
