Membership

Membership in the BBC is open to boys between the ages of 8 - 18. Auditions are year round and are made by appointment (ken@birminghamboyschoir.com) and Enrollment is January 1 and July 1

No prior musical training is necessary, but a certain level of musical ability must be evident for membership. A summer and winter camp are held each year to introduce the boys to a new season of music.

Parental support and involvement in various aspects of the choir is encouraged. Expenses include monthly tuition, uniform, camp fees, music and robe fees and tour expenses. A limited number of scholarships are available and are awarded by the Executive Board of the Birmingham Boys Choir based on need.
